We sell a variety of clarinets including new, second-hand refurbished and commission sale. All our second-hand clarinets have been assessed by our workshop along with the servicing needed to bring the instrument up to good playing order. This includes changing worn parts such as pads and corks, as well as a full play and vacuum test. Condition: Second-hand / fully serviced
Materials: Solid grenadilla body, silver plated keys.
Origin: Made in France 1973
A highly recommended model for advanced students looking for a step up instrument,
This second hand instrument has been professionally cleaned and oiled prior to sale, new tenon corks have been fitted. the pads are slightly worn but still produce a good vacuum seal, 1 small crack on the barrel which has been sealed and treated.
Sold with original case and stock buffet mouthpiece in excellent condition.

Materials: Solid grenadilla body, polished nickel keys.
Origin: Made in France 1974
This would be a good instrument for experienced beginner, or an intermediate player,
It is the vintage pre cursor to the E-13 model, much of the key work is similar to the newer model,
This clarinet has been fully overhauled with all corks changed, and pads fitted are Italian leather by Pisoni.
Sold with original case and buffet ebonite mouthpiece marked C.

The clarinet is in exceptional condition, and perfect for an advanced / semi pro player, this is Buffet’s professional model clarinet, and from an era where the manufacturing was superior to the modern equivalent, this is owing to the fact the there have have since been newer pro level clarinets added to the range that come in above the R-13 model.
Wood bore and key work is in almost perfect condition as this instrument was not well played by it previous owner.
Comes with Vandoren B45 Mouthpiece and Rovner Ligature

This is in superb condition, and perfect for an advanced students / intermediate player, This german made E-11 clarinet is superior in manufacturing to the later models (post 2009), and more equivelent to upper models of the latter period,
Wood bore and key plating are in almost perfect condition with very little signs of wear.
Service history: 4 new pads fitted (white Roo leather), key work cleaned and polished, regulation adjusted and play tested.
Comes with new case, plastic student mouthpiece and ligature.

All our second hand clarinets are fully refurbished in our workshop and will fall into two categories,
Fully Serviced:
All pads and tenon corks are are checked for rips and full seal, the perished components are replaced with high quality parts, before final vacuum and play test.
Fully Overhauled:
The instrument is fully stripped and cleaned, with all consumable components (pads and corks) replaced, a final vacuum and play test is carried out.

We work in conjunction with both Klarna and Clearpay to offer customers finance options on all our second hand clarinets.
Just select the option at checkout or ask in store, please note that the finance options are subject to availability and your contract with be with the chosen 3rd party supplier.

On the whole the majority of the second hand clarinets we sell are fully stripped and cleaned during servicing.
However as we also sell on behalf of private customers, via our commission sale service, it is at the discretion of the seller, we will always encourage this but these sale items only have to be in a “playable condition” see full listing details for service history.
All supplied mouthpieces have been fully sterilised.

We allow a 7 day approval period on our second hand clarinet sales. This is so that customers can fully play test the instruments and if need be take them for approval of the clarinet teacher at the next lesson,
Please note that payment for approval is made in full, and refunded if and when the clarinet it returned.

In some cases we will be able to offer a part exchange.
This will always be at the discretion of the staff member, and subject to our stock levels at the time.
